The Canopy Tour is a unique eco-experience that takes you on an incredible adventure through the magnificent Costa Rican forest.

The concept of guiding people through the upper canopy of the forest was originated right here in Costa Rica where adventurous biologists started a new method for accessing the forest canopy in order to conduct research. This idea has then developed into an incredible form of ecotourism experience.

The canopy tour involves traversing from one platform to another along a steel cable suspended up to 30m above the forest floor. The tour is comprised 12 platforms and 10 cable zip-lines that zig-zag down a pristine forested valley. The scenery and birdlife is spectacular and professional guides provide interesting facts about the forest ecology during the tour.
