Casa Buenavista’s owners are Cinzia and Fiorenzo "Tod" Guindani, an Italian couple who have lived in Costa Rica since 1993. Cinzia and Tod are looking forward to pampering you in the quiet and relaxed atmosphere of their house.

Casa Buenavista offers 2 rooms, each with a private porch and private entrance. Each room has a queen size bed, private bathroom with hot water, ceiling fan and refrigerator.

Stay at Casa Buenavista and start your day with our yummy, energetic and all natural breakfast! Home made pies, bread, marmalades and many more delicatessen personally prepared by Cinzia especially for you ... that is definitely something you would not want to miss!

And after a beautiful day spent sunbathing on the beach, horse back riding or flying from one tree to another canopy touring, you can treat yourself with a relaxing Shiatsu massage offered by Tod.

"What a delightful place to stay"

"CASA BUENAVISTA B&B well what a delightful place to stay. The hosts Cinzia and Tod are just amazing people so helpfull they really care about their guests the room was spotlessly clean and very well decorated also the lighting was good if you wanted to read before going to sleep. The breakfast was outstanding and their garden was such a lovely place to relax if you didn't want the beach. We saw a family of monkeys playing in the trees and a big lizard having a sunbathe. It was a short walk to a Hotel with a swimming pool where you can have an evening meal also it was walking distance to the supermarket and Soda. We found Cinzia and Todd excellent hosts and would recommend Casa Buenavista 100% the personal touch was outstanding I really don't think we could have found a better place to stay and will stay there again next time we visit Costa Rica. A great big Thank You we really enjoyed our stay!"

“An absolutely beautiful B&B with a service beyond 5 stars!”

Very clean tastefully decorated rooms with fresh flowers; a private patio in a beautiful garden; absolutely delicious salads and bruschettas; home made bread, jam and cookies for breakfast - a different kind every day... and of course, the best service imaginable (the Italian couple running Casa Buenavista really went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay). Add to this a picture perfect, almost deserted beach a few minutes away and you'll never want to leave, we didn't anyway :)

“More Than I Expected”

From the timely e-mails, to being driven to the bus stop to catch the bus back to San Jose, my stay at Casa Buenavista was more than I expected. Cinzia’s first e-mail included the bus schedule from San Jose, directions to Casa Buenavista from the “Crocodile Bridge”, plus all of the other pertinent information... I arrived there at night and woke up in a garden of vibrant colors. Casa Buenavista is beautiful, well manicured, and artfully arranged. The owners, Cinzia and Fiorenzo, treated me as though I were an old friend. ..... I have read the reviews written by other guests. The only comment that I have about theirs is, “Believe them; it’s all true.”

“Most amazing B&B!”

We spent 5 nights here and I wish we could have stayed longer. A perfect, cozy room with TV, internet, fridge, air conditioning, and a comfortable bed. It's in a quiet location so I slept great every night. A 5 minute walk to the beach or the grocery store. And there's nothing more I can say about the breakfast than incredible. Fresh fruit with homemade bread every morning. And Cinzia is the nicest person you will ever meet. She made us feel at home while we were there and gave good information about where to go. This was the cheapest place we stayed during our 2.5 week vacation and I would say it was the best. We will definitely be back!
