finca tarantela

Your land in a private park

Finca Tarantela - 45 hectares (more than 110 acres) in the back yard of Samara beach has been eco-friendly managed by the owner since 1989.

Thanks to that, the buyers of a few properties, with will be sold now, can enjoy the abundant nature, an great number of different fruit, a large variety of birds, ocelots and other animals in danger of extinction as well as howler monkeys, roaring their “who-is-who?” and “who is where?” in the mornings and dawn! There is not one day in the year that there are no flowers on the hills and intertwining vines on the trees.

In the summer, when Guanacaste's scenery becomes dry, Tarantela continues to offer a green scenery because there is an interesting mixture of tree types that are either in full bloom or regaining one more their fresh and intense green foliage, other ones are evergreen.

Trails and riverbeds, above all of Quebrada Taranta (hence the name of the farm) are inviting for long walks. Small cascades and natural pools become a haven in Taranta, where you can enjoy the water flow gently falling on the stressed muscles of your back, all the while sitting under the shade of giant trees. If you like, you can even catch sweet water-shrimps.

By becoming part of Tarantela, you will no longer need to visit National Parks or zoos to enjoy Costa Rica's rich flora and fauna.

Only a small part of the estate is being developed for lots. The remaining property stays what it is: a private park.

The main entrance of the farm is just three kilometers from Samara Beach. You can enjoy the privacy and beauty of the forest and still be within three minutes in Samara. Downtown where you can rejoice in every service and facility it has to offer. In the same amount of time you can be back to your quiet home in Tarantela, very few minutes away but very far from all the noise down at the beach.

Test it with a watch in your hand, also when it's pouring rain!

Location: 3 km north of Samara Beach on paved road, in the west the road to Nosara through Esterones, in the south the river Quebrada Taranta and on the north Buenavista river.

All lots have water, electricity, telephone lines and access to broadband Internet.

It offers: Lots starting with less than 800 m2 to properties over two hectares. Properties with very different character, family-lots

Hill-top and hill-side lots, some 200 meters along the river, wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Several properties also hold trees centuries old.

Prices range between US$ 40,000 and US$198,000.
