Cozy, peaceful, private and tropical!

La Tropicale Beach Lodge is located in Carrillo Beach. The 3 kilometers long beach is just 2 minutes away from the property; after the short walk you will be enchanted by the scene: nothing else but palm trees and the blue Ocean in front of you.

Our property has 3,000 square meters surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Monkeys and squirrels will be around and visit often.

Our main star Kuku, a Blue Macaw, who is free in the property and very friendly will be here to greet you and keep you company along your stay.

We offer 1 house and 3 bungalows.

The main house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and can sleep 12 persons. There is a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a dinning room. The Master Bedroom with Cable TV and A/C has a private terrace with amazing view.  There are 3 more rooms each with attached bathroom, A/C, cable TV, mini fridge and safe box. The main house has a private pool.

3 more bungalows, separated from the main house are immersed  in the tropical garden. Two of them, Huahine and Maupiti have a double bed and one, Tikki, has two double beds and accommodate 4 persons. A larger swimming poll with Jacuzzi is available for the bungalow's guests.

La Tropicale Beach Lodge can accommodate a maximum of 20 people. Rental can be for just the main house and at extra cost each of the individual bungalows. Daily maid service is included.

In order to make your stay comfortable and memorable we can arrange transportation as car rentals, private transfers or shuttles; we can organize tours for you and all tour operators can pick up directly at the property. All this information can be given upon request or the manager on site can help organize all this once you will have arrived.

If you are driving your own car or renting one there is a parking spot inside the property.

The property manager, Arno is on site. He is French, used to be a dancer and studied interior design. He lived in Marrakech, Morocco where he had a Riad but after a holiday in Costa Rica he fell in love with Carrillo Beach, its flora, fauna, the kindness and simplicity of local people

Carrillo Beach is small village and within walking distance offers restaurants, shops, supermarkets and bars.

Samara Beach is about 6 km away or ten minute drive and we can arrange a taxi to take you there and bring you back when needed or you can take the public bus which is a few steps away from the property and drive by every 30 minutes.
