La Vela Latina is a Restaurant & Bar located on beautiful Samara Beach, and when we say on the beach it’s because you can have the sand between your toes! Experience the exceptional Ocean view from one of our beach chairs, hammocks or rocking chairs, in the shade of a beautiful mangrove tree.

La Vela Latina, where a friendly face is always at your service, is the place to come when you want to have an unforgettable vacation.

While you’re here get to know the locals, eat well and enjoy an ice cold beer or a real cocktail all while listening to a variety of music from Reggae to Salsa, the rhythms that let you know you’re in paradise.

We are a place for the whole family, open every day from 11 am to midnight. You can enjoy anything from a delicious Casado (traditional meal), a real American-style Cheeseburger, Jalapeño Poppers to exquisite and sophisticated Peruvian style Ceviche. Or, try our unrivaled sushi.

You can come alone or with friends and you’re welcome to stay all day. You can refresh yourself with a delicious cocktail made from real fruit, with or without liquor.

If you want share a shot with friends ask for “La Ruca”, or for a great deal, just ask for a bucket of beer.
