Locanda offers rooms and self-catering apartments plus a beach cafe and restaurant, in the heart of Samara right on beautiful Samara beach. The name 'Locanda' comes from the traditional Italian name for a travelers rest - we aim to offer you a friendly and comfortable place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica.

We offer:
 

4 Apartments each have 2 spacious bedrooms, equipped kitchen with fridge, hot water, cable TV and balcony. 4 Cabinas each have en-suite bathroom, A/C, hot water, fridge and cable TV. 3 simple cabinas with private or shared bathroom for those on a tight budget.

All rooms and apartments have just been completely remodeled. Parking is available and free for clients; Continental breakfast served on the beach can be included for $5 supplement per person per day.

Locanda Cafe, with tables directly on the beach,  serves beers, cocktails, fresh fruit juices and smoothies, coffee and tea, croissants and cooked breakfasts, sandwiches and snacks. We are open from early morning until late evening and we also serve a range of traditional Costa Rican food with our daily menu including locally-caught fresh fish and seafood.
