Life is better when you surf!

We are Pato Surf School and just started our little family business in October 2010.

Pato Surf School at Samara Beach is a place of fun and relaxing. We offer surf lessons to beginners, intermediates and advanced surfers of all ages. No matter in what level you are, we customize the surf lesson to suit your needs as much as possible.

If you have already surfed, you can rent a board with us at any time. We offer you right in front of our school the "Pato’s Spot", where you can take the wave to the right or to the left.

For beginners

We teach you how to discover your surf soul!

For intermediates

We teach you how to ride and read the good waves!

For the advanced surfers

We take you to another level of excitement!

Our surf instructors Pato and Frank teach you how to surf and make sure that you will stand up at least once in your first surf lesson – there is nothing to be afraid of! Paola is the organizer of fulfilling your surf activity and more. Little Rebecca (three years old) takes care of you while you get ready for your surf lesson!

The most important thing is having fun – don’t worry – enjoy! All you need is motivation, energy and passion!

We are waiting for you right at "Pato’s Spot" and don’t forget: "Life is better when you surf!"

Where you’ll find us? Just walk on the beach, pass the beach bar La Vela Latina and then you will find us. When you see people wearing green T-shirt…...that’s us!

Prices

• We offer private lessons ($ 30 per person)
• semi – private lessons ($ 50 for two persons)
• group lessons of four persons ($ 100)
• board rent (Colones 2.000 for one hour )
• boogie – board rent (Colones 1.000 for one hour )

We are also offering to take you out to the reef surfing right in front of the island of Samara, others activities such as Kayak and Snorkeling tours, Turtles tour and more….

And if you need a place to stay we offer you rooms right at the beach.
