samara treehouse innWow, this is almost Paradise!![]() Six luxury oceanfront tree-house style apartments in the very center of Samara These charming tropical hardwood units are situated amongst beautiful tropical gardens and surround an idyllic adults only pool and Jacuzzi with a shallow area for sun tanning partly submerged in the water. Units 2 through 5 offer a bedroom with ample closet and storage area, a fully equipped kitchen, a modern all ceramic bathroom and a separate living area. They also front the beach and have windows that open the entire front wall of the apartment to the ocean. The oceanfront units are built on tree trunk stilts and also offer a shady open patio below with sink, BBQ and two hammocks that offer cool ocean breezes and incredible views of Samara Bay and Isla Chora, Samara’s own deserted Island. We now have a Bar for our guests and are serving Exotic Tropical Fruit Drinks from different countries of the world. Units 2, 3 and 4 have the most unobstructed views of the ocean. Unit 1 has air conditioning. Unit 6 has air conditioning (those are the poolside). Units 1,2,3,4 and 5 each sleep 4 persons. Unit number 1 offers a bedroom with ample closet and storage area, a fully equipped kitchen, a modern all ceramic bathroom and a separate living area. It is a one level, handicap accessible, poolside unit and does not front the ocean. It has ocean views. Unit 6 is equal in quality to units 1 through 5 but it is a one room hotel type unit with bathroom but no kitchen. It does include a refrigerator and microwave oven. It fronts the pool not the beach, but also has ocean views. Each charming unit also offers cable TV, telephone, 24 hour security, secure, gated parking and a combination safe. Wi-Fi, Wireless Internet, is available in all of hotel units. What do they say about us on TripAdvisor“Best Beach accommodation ever!”I still dream of this place. It's definitely upscale accommodation, also price wise but it's worth every penny! It's paradise, the high wooden huts are right on the beach (I mean they rise in the sand!) and equipped with every comfort (including a complete kitchen). Below each hut there's a barbecue, hammock and carts, and it's where breakfast is server in the morning. There's no words to describe it you have to see it! We didn't find Samara itself very exciting, although it has a very "local" flavor (especially if compared with touristy Tamarindo), but this place made some of the best days of our vacation. “Wonderful!!!”We were lucky enough to get to stay here one night (they had a cancellation)!!! We will return again and will bring our friends!! It was everything that we wanted, amazing location (beach on one side & grocery store on the other), beautiful relaxing pool, outdoor kitchen area with grill, table & chairs, sink, hammocks, then upstairs a huge open-air window with couch, TV w/remote, kitchen with everything that you needed, bath & bedroom. We can't wait to return!! “Beautiful and well maintained”The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. With only 6 "cabinas" it was quiet and peaceful yet you are only steps away from the ocean. Free use of the boogie boards. Breakfast served at your personal outdoor table was always fresh fruit, great coffee, juice, and alternated between pancakes and eggs. A grocery store is right across the street. The pool and everything about this place is always clean or being cleaned. You have your personal hammock as well. You are within walking distance of anything you need. “A perfect view and wonderful rooms”After a few hot days around Arenal and Monteverde, my girlfriend and I traveled to the coast for some relaxation. We stayed at the Tree House Inn for 2 nights and wished we had planned more time there. The 4 tree house rooms are very spacious with a kitchenette, large living room in the front and nice bedroom in the back. From the bed, you can see through the entire room, out the open windows into the bay of Playa Samara. There is a really nice little pool in the hotel's courtyard and a gated entrance from the beach. The hotel is in a great location, near town and some other restaurants. Each of the 4 tree houses also have a semi-private dinning area on the ground where you can grille in your own grille (if say, you had gone fishing that day) or just enjoy a drink and watch the surfers. A little more expensive than some of the other hotels in the neighborhood, but well worth it in my opinion. Our Rates
