Villas Playa Samara opened its doors to the public on December 1992. The resort has 57 villas, a swimming pool, Restaurant-Bar, activities and entertainment for all ages. Since our opening we have hosted guests from all over the world giving the best service  and attention that they deserve.

Since 1997 we became an affiliated member of Interval, the International Exchange Company and today and as a resort we have more than 2,000 families who own their membership at Hotel Villas Playa Samara.

We have created an enchanting "Tourist Village" community in a carefully preserved natural forest, specially for you, at Samara Beach, one of the most beautiful and romantic spots on the Costa Rica's Pacific Coast.

In our lush, verdant, natural tropical surroundings, and on our white sand beach, you will be thrilled with the antics of the spider monkeys, the graceful soaring of tropical and sea birds and colourful tapestry of flowers and fruits at your fingertips.

Master Bedroom

This room is special for honeymoon packages; it consists of a room with air conditioned, a king size bed and a suite bathroom. Maximum capacity is of 2 persons.

Villa Type A - 1 bedroom

This Villa consists of one bedroom with a king size bed or a queen size bed and a single bed, a master bathroom, a living room with two couches that can be converted into beds, small dining room, a terrace with a hammock, kitchenette (includes dishware for five, glasses, pans and a saucepan, refrigerator, electric stove, etc.) Maximum capacity, 5 persons.

Villa Type B - 2 bedrooms

This Villa has a master bedroom with a king size bed with air conditioning or fan and a master bathroom, the other bedroom includes a full size bed and a single bed, the living room has two couches that can be converted into two single beds, small dining room, a terrace with a hammock, kitchenette. Maximum capacity, 7 persons.

Villa Type C - 3 bedrooms

Since this villa is rather large, it only has fans. It has a master bedroom with a king size bed and a master bathroom, one bedroom with a full size bed and a single bed, and another bedroom with two single beds. The living room has two couches that can be converted into two single beds, a dining room, a terrace with a hammock, kitchenette. Maximum capacity is of 9 persons.
